Reflection Counseling

About Me

My goal is to help make counseling feel comfortable, safe, and at your pace. We will work collaboratively to help you find your strength, feel empowered and confident, and rediscover meaning and purpose in your life. Talking through past or present tough experiences or hurts can be difficult. It's tempting to try and ignore them or minimize how they are impacting you. Therapy can be a safe space to help you take the time needed to address your feelings in a way that will help you truly heal from the hurt, and discover how to engage with yourself in a healthy way that enables you to move forward.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, and I practice from a client centered and holistic perspective. Therapy with me is a nonjudgmental and collaborative space. I believe that the answers you are looking for are likely already within you, but therapy can help illuminate what those solutions could be. I work in session to address emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and interpersonal relationships, and use mindfulness and other tools that many people have found help them cope with challenging life circumstances.

I recognize that scheduling therapy for the first time can sometimes feel like an intimidating process. My hope is that you will trust that counseling can have a powerful and positive impact on your life. If you are bothered with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, feeling unworthy, struggling with relationships, or any other challenge in life, let's talk about it.

Navigating Life's Challenges

Therapy with me can help you find growth and healing for many types of struggles in your life, including if you experience and want to work through:

Anxiety & Stress

Sometimes our brain tells us to worry about things that aren't helpful to be worried about. We'll learn to take control where it makes sense, and figure out how to let go when it doesn't.

Trauma & PTSD

We can process past painful experiences at a safe pace that you set. We'll focus on building emotional safety, healing core wounds, and reclaiming peace.

LGBTQIA2S+

As a queer clinician and an ally, I offer a space where your identity is fully respected—whether it's a primary focus of our work or simply the backdrop. I can also provide letters of support for gender-affirming medical care.

Body Image & Self-Love

We will develop tools to overcome body shame and make friends with our body. We can work together individually, or you can join my small group therapy with other women that relate to your experience.

Additional Concerns

Sexual Assault
